This Privacy Policy explains how Neat N Tidy service entities collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our websites, request a quote, book or receive cleaning services, communicate with us, or apply to work with us. A separate workforce notice may apply to employees, contractors, and applicants.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact information, including name, email, phone number, address, and authorized contacts.
- Booking information, including property details, service selections, dates, frequency, access instructions, notes, and communications.
- Payment information processed by our payment provider. We generally receive transaction identifiers and limited card details rather than full card numbers.
- Service evidence, including limited quality-control photographs or video, service records, feedback, claims, and support interactions.
- Marketing-media consent records, including the approved media, channels, consent scope, signature or equivalent affirmative record, date, and any later withdrawal request.
- Device and website information, including IP address, browser, referral source, advertising identifiers, pages viewed, form activity, and cookie data.
- Information you voluntarily provide in calls, texts, emails, forms, reviews, or other communications.
3. How we use information
- Provide quotes, schedule and perform services, process payments, and support customers.
- Confirm access, safety, scope, recurring frequency, and appointment changes.
- Investigate quality concerns, damage reports, disputes, fraud, and misuse.
- Operate, secure, measure, and improve our websites, advertising, communications, and services.

4. When we disclose information
We may disclose information to cleaners and service providers who need it to perform a booking; payment, scheduling, communications, analytics, advertising, hosting, security, insurance, and professional-service providers; government authorities when legally required; and parties to a lawful business transaction. We require service providers to use information for authorized purposes. We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising activity may be treated as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain state laws; you may request an applicable opt-out at [email protected].
5. Email, SMS, and calls
We use contact information for transactional messages such as confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, changes, receipts, support, and safety notices. Marketing consent is separate where required. You may use an unsubscribe link for email or reply STOP to marketing texts. Opting out of marketing does not prevent essential service communications. Message and data rates may apply.
6. Service photographs and advertising media
We may use limited service-area photographs or video for quality assurance, cleaner training, safety, completion records, and claim investigation. We seek to avoid people, minors, documents, family photographs, screens, access codes, security details, street numbers, and other identifying or sensitive information.
We may publish selected property-only photographs or video on Neat N Tidy websites, social-media accounts, paid digital advertisements, printed marketing, or service portfolios only when the customer has given separate affirmative permission through our Customer Photo and Media Release or an equivalent written record. Consent is voluntary and is not required to receive cleaning service. We do not use a recognizable person’s name, voice, face, testimonial, or likeness for advertising without that person’s separate written consent; a parent or legal guardian must consent for a minor.
You may withdraw permission for future new marketing uses by emailing [email protected]. We will stop initiating new uses within a reasonable operational period. A withdrawal may not require us or third parties to recall printed materials already distributed, remove content already lawfully published by others, or undo an advertising placement that cannot reasonably be stopped, but we will honor applicable law and platform controls.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including service, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, insurance, dispute, and legal requirements. Retention periods vary by record type and jurisdiction. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive information; opt out of certain advertising uses; restrict processing; or appeal a decision. We may verify identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. Authorized-agent requests must include evidence of authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.
